6.9 oil pressure problem

Some time back I had a mechanic replace the sump on my 6.9 which had been cracked. Ever since that job, I have a decrease in oil presure when I make a left hand turn. Pressure remains constant when the car turns to the right. I am theorizing that centrufigal force is letting oil move towards the resevoir and this may be happening in that those numerous fittings at the sump end of the two larger hoses may have been incorrectly installed. What purpose do those fittings serve, are they check valves designed to prevent backflow?

There is definitely something not correct, you should not get an oil pressure drop showing on the gauge like that. You have checked the obvious haven't you, like the amount of oil in the sump / reservoir?

There are o-rings on the end of the flanged fittings that connect into the oil pump that could leak oil pressure out into the crankcase/sump area, otherwise I don't think much else could go wrong unless it is leaking externally.

There are two flanges which mount onto the RHS of the sump where the hoses connect. The two are not the same internally (in terms of oil ports), but I think they could be accidentally swapped. I hope this hasn't happened.

Thanks guys. I suspect there may even be some parts missing. the hose appears threaded in too close to the sump and still have all those parts at the end.
