I need to change the Air Con. Hi/ Low pressure switch '81 280 Sl. Is there a schrader valve in the line to prevent the gas leaking out when the switch is unscrewed ? or does the gas have to be removed ?
Also i may have sorted the compressor stalling the engine by restoring the retard vacumm to the distributer ,setting the timeing to 10% before TDC all vacumm disconnected ( total mechanical 35% ) and 750 RPM air on and Trans in Drive. Preformance feels the same. Fingers crossed ! Thanks Sean
