Will never buy a W107

Sadly I have realised I will never own a W107 SL. It has nothing to do with price . Having regular exposure to this model recently I have come to the realisation that I just do not fit. I have to lean sideways to drive with my head hard against the roof.

Or get an SLC, there is more head room in the SLC than the SL.

I have no problem with small cars I drive a Kia Cerato sedan. It's just the headroom with seat to roof ratio in W107 . Have a silver 500SL and a Red with cream 560SL at work at the moment I believe 560 will be for sale soon with low km as in under 100000km

I could see that, especially if it had a manual transmission. A stripper w123 with no options would be a very simple/reliable car.

M100's are incredibly reliable, it's the suspension systems and comfort hydraulics in the chassis they are installed in that are troublesome.

Imagine how many M100's I could frustrate by not getting out of there way.

It would be too slow to get into their way. Seriously though, there is something satisfying to just be slogging along, with that re-assuring drumming under the bonnet. They talk about the torque of Diesels - when in Europe, I had use of a 1.9 litre Citroen Xsara(Diesel powered) and when the gearing would struggle with low speeds when slowing down, the whole car would start to vibrate.
