Hi 300SDude interesting car not real sure about value as the factory never made 1 in a Deisel. And that model was when the SL was a Sports Light so fuel usage was about the same as your 300SD had the pleasure of driving one years ago. From Canberra to Wollongong through the Kangaroo Valley . Then back to Canberra via Illawara highway/Hume . On less than a tank of fuel about 600km all up .Loved it thanks to my older brother when he was a Lexus salesman :D

I totally agree, and he has had it for sale on eBay for quite some time. I don't know why anyone would de-value the original by putting a diesel in it, nor would I want to waste the time to.

I really don't get its purpose, lol.
