If I remember correctly there was a lot of bad comment on the M-100 site, bascially revealing them as crooks. I could be wrong so don't sue me!!

Only person I know who has delt with them was Chris / AMG69, with his wooden console box,

There is a site called www.newbenzwood.com. Avoid at all costs. I bought 5 sets of front subframe mounts off them, 4 to be sent Aust. 1 to the UK. they never sent the set to the UK and stopped responding to emails.

Not sure if they are in any way connected to benzwood.com, but it seems pretty close to me!

As I've said before I would rather drive a 280S in mint or close to mint condition than a high spec car that is in average to poor condition.

I couldn't agree with you more, and I do have the pleasure of a near-mint 280S!

On the topic of standard size steering wheels, I saw some pics on the net of a "6.9" where the owner had fitted a white wheel from a W108/109. Very smart it looked too.

Last year I wanted to fit a Nardi to Lady Genevieve until I discovered the hub I'd bought was for the later steering column and the Nardi is 2" smaller in diameter thus obscuring part of the instrument panel.

The wood and leather look is very beautiful though.
