280SE & 280SEL for sale

Yes guy's you read it right, I have listed them on ebay for sale. The SEL is needing a battery charge, change that weepy radiator and as a precaution change the water pump (all parts included) and you're good to go. The SE isnt in such great condtion, blown head gasket & the radiator is cactus....Need I say more. Theres a big reason why I'm selling.....I want a 450SE or a 450SEL, I would even consider another 280SE they would have to be in driveable but not prefect condition. The cash from this is going into the "another W116" cookie tin. For the listing it's here.

Hi 116 Benz, good luck with your selling effort. Those two cars - do they have the interior timber in them that you bought off me ? I thought that was quite nice stuff.

BTW, if you're looking for a 450, I have one in the pipeline. Gold in colour, rust free, excellent interior, partial service record.....unfortunately, because of the work I am putting into it, I can't let it go for 'banger price'. I'd need reasonable coin for it (to use SELfour50's expression). Regards Styria

Thanks guys, also...If it's anyone from here that's a buyer let me know 1st, the likes of the future owner I'd like to be the type of person that has this sort of background (enthusiast) AND therefore I'd be a bit more flexible on price. Styria, yeah the only power windows console timber was replaced, the rest is still sitting on a shelf in the wardrobe.

I found this while searching EBay a little while ago - good luck with it. I was contemplating getting a good w116 with a broken motor to do a swap for the 350's motor, but that would be a long time away.

Not for me, but are you willing to split the cars up? 2 at once is daunting for most people.
