Removing fuel tank from a 280se 1977

Hi all

Recently I purchased a one owner 1977 280se in great condition for its age. It has been sitting in the owners garage for 5 years, and although she cranks over, it will not start. Understandable of course! I would like to start cleaning all the fuel lines and flush the tank out.
How is the tank removed so I can clean it out as the fuel left in there does not smell the best and I assume there will be a fair amount of sludge!
