Thanks to Des I've become aware that you can search the Pickles website, which revealed:

280SE 3.5

Has been rear-ended by the looks, but is in otherwise fairly good nick.

I believe these are fairly special cars, yes?

I think it is the cabriolet 3.5's that are very rare and collectable,
the 3.5 sedans are fairly common, but not so common in good condition (like everything)

They are resting in my office at work. The driving lights on the car now are mounted to close to the grille so I am waiting until I do some paint and panel work, then I will relocate the bolt holes and fit up the lights.
The 3.5 I bought as a parts cars a year ago today but after I got it home I found it to good and original to part out but have not had the time to get it running. Everything works bar the fuel pump, it has a original Becker Mexico, parchment leather, french walnut wood.
