Yeah mate, that's me.. I think its a fair price for what it is... Not really sure if it'll sell to be honest... I've fielded a thousand obscure questions, but only 3 guys that seem to know what the 6.9's all about and seem relatively serious..
Quite suprising really that the 6.9's inherent value has remained so steady over the past 10 years or so, whilst other cars of similar vintage have skyrocketed.. I suppose the value of your car is really only what someone will pay for it.. Cheers fellas.

I never thought eBay was the place to sell a car for the right value.

It has always been a buyer's market rather than a seller's one.

Depending on the reason you need to sell it, it is always get the car sorted out rather than mention every fault available (except major ones)

eg: the miss is probably a fouled plug because it is not driven.

Pity it's not on the East Coast...

One of the main reasons why I own a 6.9 is that prices have not skyrocketed. It is one of the few really nice cars that I could afford to buy! I have had my car for about 10 years now. Sure, it has cost me quite a few dollars to progressively fix things on the car in that time, but the amount of money that I have forked out would have been considerably less than depreciation in value that I would have lost on lots of other cars! In that time, it has most certainly NOT lost any value.

SEL 69L, all valid points... I bought mine off a family friend who had the car for as long as I could remember, and i just loved being in it and driving it... Wasn't until after i'd bought it , I started to do some reseach, and found out exactly what I had sitting in the garage... I just find it interesting to watch the value of some cars rise dramatically regardless of fit and finish, and some seem to find a minimum value and remain static for decades.. If my benz does sell, I'm sure it will sting a bit when it pulls out of the driveway.. However, if it doesn't, I might have to extend the back of the shed... again...
