I know of a 6.9 engine available in Sydney with 180,000 klm. It came out of a car with a comlpete maintenance record. The car was condemned for some poor structural welding work, so it was parted out. The engine and gearbox are both available. I think it would be about $1500 perhaps. I have actually seen the engine running before it was removed from the car, about a year ago.

The right rear door that is on my car currently, came off that car. The bonnet and bootlid were given to me from that car, and are available, too.

So when do we see a second 450se 6.9 or a 450sl 6.9/450slc 6.9 i would be interested in the motor but prob sold before i return to Australia i was going to buy the motor Cam bought but when WGB listed it i was offshore at the time as well

What happened to Cam and all his cars??

I talk to Cam every few weeks he still has 6.9 engine and parts required to build another 6.9. He is buying a Crayford to convert to a 6.9 . Its up to him if he wants to post any details I guess when he finishes paying for it he may post when construction starts.

I believe he got a little upset when he stripped car for racing and they abolished class it could race in. This is the car I believe he is buying
