The interior is absolutely gorgeous! (LOL, I would just sit in this car all day long and totally be happy). The non-B pillars and woodwork are just beautiful. wish my w116 had that much wood in it!

It's not easy to fault this car, is it ? Well, not on my part, anyway. Very unusual exterior colour, and one really has to marvel at Daimler Benz that they were able to produce such elegant cars not all that many years after the end of hostilities, but also the various Sports Cars, such as the Gullwing etc.

I know that it is the pillarless 300D that is the most sought after, but the earlier models with normal windows and a "B' pillar are now coming into their own as far as collectors are concerned. Regards Styria

It's just a beautiful car design from front to rear. I think these were some of the things that attracted me to Mercedes since I was a kid. I would love to own any of the pre-70's Mercedes. Just gorgeous.

There are a few new models I like, but I do miss the nice big chrome grille of a Mercedes.
