W116 windscreen rubbers on eBay

Hmmm ... the ad claims the rubbers are made to M-B original specs -- which, to me, says non-genuine.
Given my experience with the lousy fit of non-genuine rubbers, and given that those in the ad are about the same price as I pay for the real thing, I'll stick with genuine, methinks.

They can be a lottery - you get opinions from both sides of the fence, but I do know that some windscreen guys will not use, or are not happy to, after market rubbers.
In a situation like this, I would want to buy locally-at least you can then apply for a credit or refund. Also remember, when lodging a complaint, you're always the first one that has had trouble with these rubber seals. Regards Styria
