Malcolm Fraser - Prime Ministerial W116

Hello All,

I understand that Malcolm Fraser's prime ministerial car before he switched to a Ford LTD (which would have been much more palletable to the electorate) was a white W116.

Any ideas where this car went?

Interesting! The plates would’ve been removed when they upgraded the car so it might be hard to track.

He did a few hot laps with Fangio at Sandown 10/09/1978.

He did, a white (of course) 450SEL, the government bought 2 and because they didn't pay the duties and import taxes and tariffs they were actually marginally cheaper each than the price of a LTD
