Can someone shed some light on these numbers?

Beru ZEF 501 -- 300 890 501

High tension leads (spark plug leads)
I found them in my workshop and I have no idea what they fit (except that they are for a Benz)

My understanding is that Beru is one of the OEMs that supply M-B. All the ignition parts on my W112 coupe are Beru - and all bar the leads and plugs were originals.

When replacements have been ordered ("genuine only, please") Beru are what have been supplied.

Hi Des and guys, excellent detective work..but I am a little confused. From what I can ascertain, the product table refers to 6 cylinder models yet, obviously, Michel's 560 is an eight. So, what's right and what's wrong - can someone enlighten me ? Regards, Styria

Hi Michel, I am aware of that. My confusion relates to the tabulated categories as found by Des on the Beru site. The kit that you have, is it for a six or eight ? Regards, Styria
