Heater hose part number.....

Here is a hose that can be used to replace the LH heater hose that goes through the firewall on any 116.
It is the "S" shaped hose that joins the heater tap to the heater core.
The retail price at the dealer is over $75!!
You can use a heater hose from a TC or TD Holden Gemini 1.6lt.
Part number CH1224.
Total cost $17!
You can cut 2 "S" shaped hoses out of this hose because it is long and has a few "S" shapes in it.
I have done it and it works. (Correct diameter etc.)

Hi Bandy, great detective work and thanks for that. Incidentally, I have tried to buy those heater hoses (left and right) from Autohausz Arizona, but I had no luck in getting identification from them-each and every time, I finished up with 107 hoses. Regards Styria
