Heater control panel in the console - how do I remove it?

Hi guys,

Ok so I want to remove the heater control panel in my 450SE and replace it with one which only has a single Fan switch...

I've removed so far the ash tray and ash-tray bracket
The heater levers
The radio (which wasn't even mounted)
The A/C and Fan switches on the heater control panel

But I can't see how to remove the panel.

Any suggestions or pictures greatly appreciated.

Hi B13, you have removed the four black plastic control levers, right? Okay, next prise out the two plastic 'up and down' bezels and once they are removed, you will see two self tappers that secure the bottom of the switch panel.

Once you have removed the self tappers, the whole lot will come out. Regards Styria

The panel has two little hooks at the top - after you take out the two screws behing the lever facia, you need to swing the bottom of it out first then it comes out

You have taken off the heater and fan rotary knobs but have you removed the two large nuts that hold the rotary controls to the front panel?

I don't think it will swing up until the two large nuts are undone.
