6.9 Suspension Pump - New (almost un-used)

Hey All,

I'll post pics when I get home tonight. For sale is 1 x 6.9 High Pressure Suspension Pump.

I also have both lines that will go with it also.

The unit is shiny and in as new condition. It's off the new old stock engine, and would've been used for less than 5000km's.
Engine was oiled up for storage and when removed the inside and seals still appear in new condition.

These units apparently retail for about $1k plus 1-200 for the hoses.

Don't really know what's fair to ask for, so will consider any 'fair' offer.
Hoses/Lines will be sold with the unit as well. And they are also in great condition.

WAIT, just found a photo from Bill's post, this was taken before the engine was 'cleaned' up after storage.


I'll get an up to date photo uploaded later tonight with the pump off the car.

May have been built in 1980, but my feeling is that the ancillary items though they may have date marks on them at the back end of the production line... I feel they are all still as new.

The alternator, power steering pump, starter motor.. all of them have their decals and plates on them in perfect condition - not weathered whatsoever.

I'm still extremely confident that all these ancillaries are pretty much brand new.


Just waiting on the paperwork of the delivery of the engine to come from WA, when it arrives I'll be able to confirm 100% as to what the engine came with etc etc etc...

I have written confirmation from the person I bought the engine off, that the pump is as new as the engine. He said everything was new at the time of install in germany and the car was written off after 2,500km's.

Hi Cam sorry i missed your posting just currious what did it go for i paid john green 800 for a brand new pump in 2001 and when i had brand new struts fitted in 2003 f wann told me they had a pump in stock which i bought for 820 the stuts were 1500 each i still have the new pump in its box maybe worth selling

All good mate. Pump went for $457.

If you're not gonna need that pump (and I'd recommend converting to conventional springs with the engine work you're doing - maybe you already are?!), then might be worth chucking it on evil-bay.

You may recover your $$ for it, or maybe just under... just depends if there's anyone out there who needs one.

yeah im thinking about it but whille it still works its not a priority spending money in more important area's just interested that's all wonder what i could get for a new one in its box though
