1975 450SEL for sale $1000

[450SEL1979]

I have a RED 1975 450SEL for sale $1000
up until last weekend this was being driven on a fortnightly basis . On the weekend my daughter managed to hit a very high speed bump and apparently partially dislodge oil filter and progressively lose all of the oil . Not realising what the problem was , she kept driving . Net result engine has seized .
Good points - currently registered to 12/2/ 2018 , body in good condition
approx. serviced approx. 2 months and 500km ago . Fitted sheepskins front and back , Sony CD stereo with MP3 Good tyres , Mag wheels , extensive work done on front suspension last year (about 2000km ago ) Styria supplied a lot of these parts . Work on injectors .Car ran well as I kept up regular servicing .
Bad points - sunroof works well except it leaks if car parked in certain angel . As result water damage tp carpet in front passenger side and rear seat passenger side . rest of interior is fine
I would prefer this car to go to someone who wants a good project car and get her back on the road . or failing that someone looking for a donor 450SEl
I have another 450SEL which is in very good mechanical condition that I drive on weekends . My arm could be twisted to do a package deal
If someone is serious about keeping these classic 450SELs on the road
My daily driver is a S430 merc somewhat more recent vintage

Yes hopefully someone will see the opportunity of rescuing it. Unfortunately that wont be me . As I have another 450SEL a 1974 model in Dark Grey. Also a 2002 S430 a 1997 XJ8 Jaguar Sovereign and my wife has a Toyota Camry
so 5 cars , 5 lots of rego and insurance and only 2 on street parking permits . I live inner city Alexandria and finding parking these days is getting very difficult
So she has to go . Anyway this would make a great project for someone who is interested and if they are really keen perhaps I can be talked into a package deal with the 1974 450SEL as well.
