After parking my car on a friends lawn after a long drive in the wet, I found that it didn't want to start the next morning.
Opening the bonnet revealed that she had 'sucked up' a huge amount of moisture from the wet grass (after all it's been raining on and off in Sydney for nearly 3 weeks) and there were droplets of water everywhere.
I got out the trust WD-40 and started the process of applying it on all electrical contacts.
Still she didn't want to start, so I removed the dizzy cap. Well it was wet inside and got a spray of WD-40. Back on she went and zooom it burst into life.
What I have observed is that the dizzy cap is cracked, so I am in need of a replacement.
Anyone who has a 450 SE cap for sale please send me a pm or call me on 0457 39 64 65.
Thanks
Brian
