Hi all,
You can tell I'm doing car stuff - posts everywhere.
Anyway: I'm installing an immobiliser in the green beast, and am wanting to do it without butchering the car's wiring harness. To do this, I want to fabricate an intermediate wiring loom that goes between the main harness and the "back-of-car" harness, which are normally connected by a 14-pin plug (part 116 540 2007 or 116 540 2107).
If I get a male and female of this plug and wires, I can set up the connections to the immobiliser, and then just plug it in to the car (well concealed of course). I have 2 harnesses with said plug, but don't want to butcher one of them just for a single plug, so was wondering if anyone had a cut-up harness with this on it?
It's black plastic, has 2 rows of 7 pins and male/female orientation pins in it too. It's the perfect spot in that it contains wiring for both the blinkers and the fuel pump.
