Track day anyone?

Seeing as I am doing some performance mods to my recently bought 6.9 . At the prompting of Mark (Oversize) I have agreed maybe a trip to Heathcote in rural Victoria may be on the cards with my 6.9 once I move over east. Unfortunately it is being delayed by personal and work related affairs but I will move as soon as I can. New Track day anyone.

You don't need to go that far south.
There's a good track at Goulburn (Wakefield Park)

Great drag strip and it has weekly street meetings whereby anyone can roll up and test his/her car

Old Eastern Creek drag strip was a dangerous 1/8 mile facing a wall

Actually old track almost killed me. Broke rear suspension on take off with my old HQ 454 with NOS turned hard left into wall and rolled.

Ribs and internal bruising. had 3 weeks of work. Which at the time I was self employed so went back before I should have. Car was a rite off by the way. Oh and my ego was bruised.

I was hoping to ride the coat tails of an AMG track day with MBCV but nothings happened yet. I’m not pushing had until I get my car on club plates.
