F*kn beautiful!! There's a few mercedes conversions popping up lately! People are realising how good these chassis' are!! HP bang for buck obviously a conversion is the way to go...... unless you find a nice M119 somewhere to put in.

That's not bad Michel but where's that 250CE. There's one at the moment with a V6 3.8 Holden but that motor is as noisy as hell (in a bad way) IMO.

But there's another 250CE with a Supra engine and huge horsepower. A very impressive pro conversion. Have you got the link Cam or Ian? I'm at work and can't find the listing and haven't got email. I think it might have been removed but the auction should still be visible with the direct link.

it is relayively simple using a 'crate' V8 Chev engine

....and to make matters worse, from what I see it has not attracted a single bid - I would have said that this was a total travesty. Just think - Chevy reliability and ease of buying spares (and not costing the earth)....I don't know.

I agree with bb - it's a lot of car, as long as it is properly sorted and ready to be driven reliably. Just about the only qualifications I would throw in. Regards Styria
