Similar to what I paid a couple of years ago from someone else in California.

Short wheelbase set only and beware that you may have trouble with the fit of the front windscreen seal.

Many people have reported difficulty getting the front windscreen to fit unless an original M-B one is used.

Thanks for the advice but, I'm actually more interesrted in the door and boot seals. I had the front screen changed a couple of years back and it wasn't perfect!

Boy, that price has me whetting my appetite.

I left the BBB [big brown bitch] out in the rain during the bad weather period - what a mistake.

I have never had water in the boot, but there was at least 2 litres sitting on top of the rubber boot mat. On the inside, well another story, the bugs were all flotaing around on a matchbox that they had fashioned into a miniature Noah's Ark.

My only thought is that the rainn was coming into the cabin via the boot and door seals, unlss anyone else can suggest a more appropriate culprit.

The other culprit is the tail light seals, I found on my SEL, the seals were pretty much on the verge of being US, de greased them and went mad with black sikaflex, so far so good. The back window seal is cornflaked (cracked and splitting, this got the same treatment as well. So far, no leaks.

The seals arrived yesterday, 15 days to the day, and they look good. I tried the boot seal for size an it's perfect.

Doeas anyone ahve any tips on fitting the door seals? Like how do I get those plates off at the front of the front doors?

yeah okay Martin, I now get what you're after. They are usually held in place by plastic clips, and there is a good chance that you will semi-destroy those in the process of removal - and remove them you must. Best to have new ones handy that should be readily available from your MB dealer. Good luck with the job - it is actually quite simple. Regards Styria

I fitted the driver side yesterday. It was relatively easy to do. I hope to do the rest today.
