Just received the latest issues of MB Classic & MB Enthusiast.

Wonderful article in the MB Classic about the 300 Adenauer and a S500L W140 Mercedes.

Featured article in the MB Classic about a barola red 260SE W126 and Artic white 560SEL from the photos both look in immaculate original condition!

260SE has done 65,000kms since new and the 560SEL has done 135,000kms since new truly amazing!

I have never seen or heard of a 260SE W126 before.

Article is titled 'Snow White and Rose Red' appropriately titled as well.

Both W126 featured in the magazine confirm why I would like to update to a W126 for my next Mercedes!

Nah not a trick! I think you'll have more luck on mainstream sites such as Carpoint, Carsguide, Carsales, The Age, Justauto, or Drive. Even Shannons! You may've already tried MBCNSW and don't bother with Ebay...

Nah not a trick! I think you'll have more luck on mainstream sites such as Carpoint, Carsguide, Carsales, The Age, Justauto, or Drive. Even Shannons! You may've already tried MBCNSW and don't bother with Ebay...

Have used Carsales and other mentioned car sites before.

Had a few 'so called' aka tyre kickers and alike contact me years ago when I had the blue 230E for sale on Carsales they said they were coming to look at the car and never turned or offered unrealistic offers.

They just wasted my time oh well.

Yes Mark the 260E was featured in the MBCNSW Club magazine recently.

There are quite a few Mercedes owner/drivers in Newcastle Tony it would be good to see more Silver Stars on the Newcastle/Hunter roads.

BTW... I am Irked..........

I did take myself yea and verily to Yon Vendor of News and couldnt get a park within a kilometre of the shop as the Hippies have their open air market today and the mongrels have abandoned their Kombi's everywhere.

Actually there were very few Kombi's, this mob are more the low rent type of hippie as they all seem to pilot Kia Carnage's.........

To say I am Miffed is an understatement...........

So No Merc mags for my perusal today.

I finally got my copy of the April edition of ME. Obviously there's a huge delay at my newsagent if they're 2 months behind!!!

What a great edition, but I did find it curious that the article on the W116 40th anniversary referred to the 6.9 as having "air suspension"! Even the 'enthusiasts' have no clue! Any wonder the average joes confuse a 450 with a 6.9....

Included is a great story on the W140 V12. Happy reading!!

Recieved a copy of the 2nd issue of the MB Classic magazine in the post today.

Front cover features an article about the MB 170 and MB 190 "Compact Class".

Time to read the magazine it looks to be a good edition!

I tend to like Mercedes Cl;assic better than theEnthusiast version - more in depth, not so flashy and more expensive. I have stopped buying, except for the recent issue relating to our 116s. Regards Styria
