Hi Geoff, welcome back to the 'land of the living'. TK ain't quite the same without you. Those 300 Cabriolets are quite magnificent, and to think that they were introduced a mere six years after the end of WW II, what does that tell you about Germanic efficiency and an ability to virtually rise from the ashes ? Quite unbelieveable.
THis car is nice, well better than nice. However, those white walls - just too much for my liking. I am also taking the liberty to get BenzBoy going. Just have a look at this 'Blue Train' replica Bentley. I mean, really as ugly as sin, but it is dead beautiful in its ugliness. That roofline - style setter, the father of the Range Rover Evoque, BMW X6 (ugh !) - well, it almost seems like it - most importantly though, it is a copy of the Gurney Nutting design house.
