Hi all,
Pics from Shannons Wheels 2010 in Canberra - on the lawns in front of Old Parliament House on Sunday March 21.
Fold-up middle row seats in the stretch Caddy:

Stretch Caddy exterior - the way the doors look open really spoils it in my opinion:

Makers mark on an old headlamp, off another Caddy:

Old Pugeot powered pushie:

Room M100 in OPH

Morris(?) Mayflower - like a sub-compact Roller:

Aston Martin DBS:

Sleepy monster:

Old Pug:

Lovely colour scheme:

Mint condition 220SE interior:

Hard to see, but a lovely burgandy + white paint job:

Gotta love pillarless:

Diplomatic plates - where can I get some:

Lovely Buick, another jet-age car (hood emblem):

Obligatory T603 - was getting a lot of attention, as it should:

Fluid drive must have been important to write it on the bumper:

Caddy - same car as before:

6.3 - from another car club:

The stretch Caddy and another, tail to tail - wish they still designed cars like that:

Old Harleys:

Volvo 262(?) coupe - rare - nice lines, and Colin Powell drove it during a visit to Canberra as secretary of state (gave Alexander Downer a lift - Powell is a Volvo nut apparently):

Built 1946 I think it said - nice:

Austin I think this was - tiny:

Nash - you don't appreciate how tall the older cars are until next to them:

Beautiful blue somethingorother - restored from a pile of rust:

The jet age again:

Lincoln - these fascinate me for some reason, although they would be shocking to drive:

Buick: near-horizontal fins:

Same Buick from the rear - love the badge "font" too:

More fins - poke your eye out fins:

DeTomaso Pantera - tyres twice as wide as mine:

There were lot more cars there, including MBs, but I was only photographing what took my fancy. There were whole rows of Skylines and newer Commodores and BMWs and the likes, but they seemed boring this year.
