As the hair thins out, people spend a fortune trying to regrow, thicken, etc...

MG's are all rubbish Michel ? A lot of them are... but a well sorted A with Radial Tires , a front roll Bar, a brake booster, Electronic ignition and a B exhaust Manifold, is a very good car in it's age group and price range.
Performs , steers ( rack and pinion ) and stops as well as any car I have owned in it's era.......Just good basic engineering.

P.S. they don't over heat with a decent radiator and correct ign. Timing.

Mind you my MGA was bought in the early 70s.... no mods... very original with crossply tyres.
A real killer on the mountainous roads of Lebanon during summer and for winter.... well forget that

Sounds as bad as the HR I had drum brakes and Ansen 13x7 and 8 US racer rims with BF Goodrich T/A tyres lethal in the wet.
