It could be another brand as Helmet so rightly points out. There is nothing particularly appealing to me about the digital dash in the new MB products - and I wonder how they will fare once they are a few years old. Generally an iPad lasts 3 or 4 years and the same with a PC so will it be necessary to replace a digital instrument panel after a few years of ownership? They won't be repairable so replacement seems the only way forward.
As technology changes rapidly will expensive cars become obsolete just because the touchscreens are no longer available?
It's one thing to replace a broken gear in an analogue speedo but another thing entirely to fix a digital interface. Progress?
