They won't fit the heads directly but they do seem to fit inside the standard plastic buckets (with the air nozzles) like they were made to fit! So all you need to do is block off each of the 8 nozzles which are no longer necessary. However I'll have to check the buckets to see if they interfere with the new injector spray pattern. If they do, adapters will need to be fitted.

Sounds good.
Can you use sleeves from an earlier M117 engine that doesn't have the idle air? I've never compared them side by side. Or even an engine like an M103 that doesn't have the idle air.

Work progresses. The injectors fit straight into the K jet buckets. I went to pickapart yesterday looking for a throttle body. Although advertised in some places, the V6 Commodore throttle plates are far smaller.... Yes the outside diameter is 80mm but internally it’s useless for my application. And only 2 mounting bolts??? The Falcon I6 uses a throttle body that is oval in shape & not an adequate diameter either.

I was recently out at Pickapart just before lockdown 3.0 & scored some parts off a 420SE import including late distributor & throttle body.
I’ve touched base with my EFI supplier who are still working on the throttle switch to TPS conversion.
I’ve decided thinner base plates will be better so I have to measure up the correct size & buy them from the alloy supplier. And measure up the fuel rails so they can be cut to the correct length & fuel fittings added.
I’m also chasing up funding options & a testing chassis dyno with full testing capability including airflow.
So many things!!!

The project continues.... I’m picking up the rails as soon as our lockdown ends!
I’ve spoken to the CNC machinist who will be making the base plates etc & the work will hopefully commence soon. I’m dropping off scale drawings & original manifold when permitted.
