Oh boy....I clearly need to educate you lot! Faster than an aeroplane and at the cutting edge of exposed valve gear and you go and watch grass grow. Hmm - much better things to do with grass than watch it...
Seriously, I can't understand WHY it took so long to start the bloody thing. I guess it could be a little Yankee showmanship because nothing ever takes that long - but when it starts doesn't it sound good? Oh; you didn't watch that far?
Hmmmm - makes you realise why a Ghost was such a break through in ease of operation.

BTW that was not cutting edge. the wind up mechanism in the jewelery box that made the Ballerina dance when you opened it was way before this

Hi Brian this was Rod Hadfields Aircraft Car Final Objective a 55 Chev with a P51 Packard V12 engine supercharged in the Guiness books as worlds most powerfull road car yes it is street legal . I'd heard quite a while back that rego on that car wasn't about being legal, but more about breaking records... And the 'rego' was very limited. I've seen other videos and it really looked like a difficult machine to drive and keep running. It didn't look like fun at all. And a car sounding like a Spitfire just messes with your head. Gimme V8 noise any day!

Hi Mark quiet right i spoke to Rod Hadfield at the Summernats about his Warman Speacial he commented it drove like a powerfull but standard Packard which the chassis came from. And Mark when i get home tonight and on my laptop i will post youtube links for both these cars. And i found a hand cranking starting procedure of a TIGER 1 Tank if you would like it . Geoff
