Hi guys I have said before I would one day like a Buick and it will be a Straight 8 . As that is the same reason I am doing up my 6.9 I don't like being the same as everyone else. If I had the money a Rolls Royce Phantom 2 Hot Rod with Straight 6 still in place high comp pistons Gearvendors overdrive maybe EFI and hide it to look stock same as vintage air and maybe power steering it would be a retro Rod P11  . Any way back to post this is a forum member I have emailed before on another forum . He is selling Straight 8 Speed gear roller rockers cams pistons and billet rods. Enjoy his world record Bonneville run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdoFmTDv_MI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsLspqirjHA&list=UU6u34uim000sFw1jQgKKo3A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3idP2Fht5zc&index=13&list=UU6u34uim000sFw1jQgKKo3A http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bmt1WaIiMEo&index=14&list=UU6u34uim000sFw1jQgKKo3A

Geoff, who is going to look up this 'mumbo jumbo' that is contained within these posts ? Surely, you should be able to list links in some sort of tidiness, with spacings and line markings so that we can see easily what links you have posted. I am sorry, but the 'layout' leaves a lot to be desired. Regards Styria

N.B. Surely it should not be difficult to use separate lines, and double spacing ? Look at Tim's posts - he has double spacing, he gets his message across, and it is neat and tidy, and easily legible.

Ease up chaps! Just add a few returns after the links Motec and it'll make it far easier to read and it'll also mean no links get missed; easy really.

Just remember these are public posts and new members will be turned away if we're misbehaving. Motec I'd suggest you delete your last one...

I wish the operator could hold the camera still! Some are almost unwatchable, as it's shaking all over the place.... Do they even check this stuff before uploading?

Hi Mark you must admit the rods are a work off art.

Geoff, I took the trouble to look at each and everyone of your You Tube links in the first post, primarily as a token of good faith and appreciation of your efforts in providing the links.
Unfortunately, there was not a great deal to hold one's interest. The videos are very short - invariably, as a rule when I submit You Tube videos, I endeavour to aim for a duration of not less than three minutes for each video. As you know, I am very partial to Buicks of the late '40s, '50s and '60s, but in order to appreciate them properly, I endeavour to look at the interiors, and perhaps even a short story that one could perhaps reply to in a meaningful way. Regards Styria

Hi Styria the 36 Buick set a world record in its class last year at Bonneville that is the main reason for the post as against all the odds of design limitation with the Buick Straight 8 they have managed to get them to rev and perform . And as I have admitted inline flathead and straight 8 s are engines I have an interest in . In its own way they are doing what any 6.3 or 6.9 M-100 owner faces as there is no aftermarket support or parts to improve these engines. If I could find better video of this team or car I would have posted it.
