The name sounds like some sort of post-watershed daliance with a man's pants but I think the car looks lovely.

When I lived in London I was a member of the Classic Car Club (http://www.classiccarclub.co.uk/home.asp) and in the club house they had a member's 1937 Cord Phaeton on static display for a while. This reminded me of that a little.

Nice, and a lot of the styling was used on later GM cars, but I much prefer the looks of the 1955 - '56 Buicks!

That Cord what a CAR!!!!

One of my father's colleagues had one in his huge collection of American veteran cars.

It was a 1934 model from memory, white with a most unusal collection of hardware for its day. They were front wheel drive, with the gearbox ahead of the axel, accounting for the distinctive dolphin nose shape and it was a 'pre-selector' automatic.

I have fond memories driving around in that lovely vehicle. Definitely one of America's best. A true classic.
