That is why I want over drive I think revs with standard gearing is a joke with incredibly high revs in top gear causing unacceptable harshness and fuel consumption. Re read my prior post about what is acceptable.

All you need is to adapt a 5 speed gearbox and that would solve the 'off the mark' acceleration and your 'overdrive' options

The 560s had an even taller diff ratio at 2.47 ! But the transmissions have the extra gear...

Finding it is one thing and then it needs to be upgraded to cope with the M100 torque. Unless you can find a W140 V12 box which is like a needle in a haystack.

Personally I'll look for something far easier to find and service.

BTW I did do a bit of a study into ratios a while back and I'll see if I can find it

I have adaptor for turbo 700 but I will need something like B&M shifter and to cut the tunnel to fit which is were I stopped on desire to fit.

I don't need V12 Transmission Just V8 version as there is only 2 versions of the box . And I would rebuild before fitting.

450 is 3.07 350 is 3.46 and it would appear we can adapt our LSD carrier to these gears.
