I am after a pair of front seats for an R107. Condition not important as long as they are useable as is or after recovering.

When did the various W116 models change injection? I know very early models such as the 280S had carburettors (one I recall) But the V8s were all injected. When did D-Jet start and did we get KE-Jet in the W116? What about the 6.9? what did it have?

The 690SEL is fitted with windows that have a dark yet vibrant green colour. However, I don't recall seeing that on any other 116. Is it something so unique, or have I not noticed it on anyone else's car?

I have been driving my 690SEL lately a bit and I have found out that when I start it cold, it feels like it has a miss until it is a little warmer (the needle is off the wall). :confused: As soon as the temperature needle has moved a bit, the miss is gone. Any ideas?

I am considering at a set of wheels for my 690SEL They are 18" x 8.5" +25 offset at the front and 18" x 10" +25 offset at the rear. The tyres are 235/40ZR18 at the front and 275/40ZR18 at the rear. I know the offset is about right, but would the physical size of the wheels and tyres fit? I...
