Cheap '79 450SEL in Melb, Vic

Hi guys, please examine the following car:

Its for sale by Noelwild (from the other web site). I was there today and I had a look over the car. I can say with much authority that pretty much everything works as it should, including the SLS which pumped up in about 10 seconds after it had been sitting for a week, and the engine runs smoothly and quietly, started after 4 cranks of the starter after sitting for a week. In fact if it were a shortwheelbase case it would have been an instant candidate for a Team 116 car.

And the best bit? The first one of us from either forum to put $700 in his hand for it gets it! Thats a big savings on the $2K asking price...

Tip: examine those wheels very carefully ;-)

Been looking for a good weekender and saw this one but was interstate.
Is it still around but really looking for one I can get roadworthied quite quickly, rego doens't interest me as it will be registered in the country.

No not yet but have Grahams number with an invite as well but its a fair way from my place however will ring him and organise to do so later in week. would appreciate from the experts here any thing i might need to look for. as its already got a RWC should be quite OK.

Was his daughters but with a spare motor as well, crikey I would have to find somewhere to put it too good to knock back.

Expect looking at it would be fine but need a few litre of fuel to get it home of course!!!!

Look out for th usual stuff...

Rust (anywhere) noisy and smokey engine.

Otherwise, for the price, you can't go wrong
