I guess I couldn't let this one pass, although this model is probably the one I least like or desire, but it was too good to let go, at least on paper and in the photo.
It has books from new and could do with a bit of body work and a respray.

Time will tell if I made the right decision.
I'll collect it most probably on Monday.

In terms of improving, as you know, Jerry can do magic with his hands and a spray gun. I know by the time he finishes with it, it’ll look great!
Not sure about any options until I get my hands on it.

I assume you’re talking about the odd one out...
It was a spare that was fitted as the original had a torn tyre which I’ve since replaced and fitted.
So.... four original and identical wheels are back on.

I do need a few bits, but not to the point of buying a wreck.
The car is pretty much complete, needing a few interior and exterior bits which I might source from a wrecker.

Well having had one they are the most silent Mercedes on the highway. Plus if Bose sound system still functioning it's a very decent system. The amps are problematic though.

Off course the usual series 1 issues has wiring been replaced it should have been by now check if it's pliable at the boots in engine bay . Does air work if so evap which was a problem has been changed if not it's almost a car write off situation as over 100 hours labor to fix .oh and enjoy pity it's not a 500 but there is a 500 parts car in Canberra I believe.

Well, Jerry has been busy panel beating and repairing the minor dents that were around.
The ‘Ghost’ (as the Lebanese Benz lovers like to call the W140) is in the Spraybooth to paint the bumper bars and the lower section of the body.
Here are some pics prior to that.

It’s a champagne colour but has a ‘Brilliant Silver’ Benz name.
I can’t remember the code and the car is at work.
