Hi Ant all I will say at this point is it is original registered. And current owner has had since 95 and only done 18000km in that time and it has been serviced regularly. And I pick it up next week.

Hi guys i started this post in the hope that some interest would be shown in suppliers for our cars. It would appear that only a few are interested. This is the target for a tuned 6.9 375hp was the output of the AMG W116 6.9 http://www.automobile-catalog.com/make/amg/w-116-amg/w-116-amg/1979.html . The advantage I have is I have learned by my trial and errors . So I now not only know how to beat that figure but exceed it comfortably.

Walnut was standard on all 6.9 vehicles.
However, as we all know, MB would oblige even if you wanted plain back (as long as you paid for the inconvenience)
