Flaco Jimenez I have heard of - in fact, I am fairly certain that I have got some of his music on both Real Player and iTune. A lot of my music has been downloaded from Bear Share, with 877 files on iPod which was a real boon during my recent overseas trip. I'll have to check out the other guy you're talking about. My ipod is up to 3,500 tunes and climbing a fast as I have time to load cds.
I will burn a good mix of Tex-Mex when I have time, coming to Berrima on the 15th March?

One of the few disappointments of my move here was that that sqeaky talentless git followed me here.

I think you are right G-M. David Essex was the culpret. Leo Sayer had the long tall glasses and a dancing issue

Believe it or not, Leo is still performing here in Australia at fairly big corporate events. I suspect he is paying them.

That was a great post of yesteryear. Unfortunately, E200K. spat the dummy when he got pulled up for something, and it is also unfortunate that we lost Tony 66 also a number of years ago. He was always good value with his knowledge and experience. That Pioneer Radio is still in Gleaming Beauty, still looking the part - talking of TexMex music, Freddy Fender, Flaco, and Texas Tornados - inimitable Music, but to this you could also add Pink Martini (Latin American rather that TexMex) and of course, four sisters by the name of Sparx - based in New Mexico I believe. Great music to listen to and also to dance - and, I guess, also to look at. Regards Styria
