The highlight was the 1938 230 Cabriolet B owned and restored by John Green

The 2022 ACT German Car Show. The first since 2019 held at Queanbeyan Park. The highlight was a 1938 230 Cabriolet B. I took my 560SEL.

Great stuff Bryce.
I still believe the Khamann Ghia is one of the most interesting designs to come out of Germany. The lines are resolved and the product balanced. It just needs a better motor....

Yes, something like a twin cam alfa engine would work well.

The former is a W110 200 automatic. It’s basically a predecessor to today’s E-Class from the early 60s.

The latter is a 300d Adenauer. This is basically a predecessor to the model that fits above the S class that MB no longer make. The Maybach was their last attempt.

Advanced car for the era, the final version, the 300d had fuel injection and was a pillar less design. Competed with the Silver Cloud and got replaced by the 600 grosser.
