Just hijacking the thread for a moment or two. I see that Mark lists 13 or 14 cars in his Avatar. Very, very impressive. However, a client of mine has gone viral, and here is a list of cars as I know them:

1972 600 LHD
1972 6.3 Astral Silver - owned from new
1972 6.3 Tobacco
1972 6.3 White LHD ex Dubai
1972 6.3 Diamond on Gas
1972 3.5 Astral Silver
1964 220 Coupe
1964 6.3 Coupe - Candy Red
Mitsubishi Evo 9
Mitsubishi Evo 10
2014 SLS AMG
2014 Chevy Pick Up Truck
Valiant RT Bathurst Charger
1963 230SL
1968 280SL

That makes it a neat fifteen - for all I know, there may well be a couple of others. I remember he used to have an ML55 AMG, but sold that as the car would never track straight and would always wear tyres unevenly. Could never get that fixed. Anyway, the man has got good taste. Regards Styria

Well Benz Boy, you have a commendable habit of catching me out - well, the guy has got virally (!) good taste. A couple of corrections. It's a Ford F150 (the BIG ONE) that he has, also the 1964 Coupe is a 1963 with 6.3 engine (replica of factory modifications and a $300K. restoration), plus he has a Holden Maloo Ute, a newish Nissan GTR (the REAL McKoy) and maybe I have forgotten one or two in his collection. Yes sorry, a Ferrari 458 (I think).

I have had a bit to do with the 1963 6.3 Coupe - a very interesting project almost perfect in most instances - only I know some of the little things not right, but generally a well thought out and faultless restoration. I do have plenty of pics which I will submit in due course. Regards Styria

N.B. Maybe I should get Gleaming Beauty involved in the mix. When I read about the $200K. for a Kombi Bus, I figured that a very, very good 6.9 would have to be worth one tenth of that silly auction price. Regards Styria
