Hi Motec 6.9 - Tarek should be happy with this thread, although I suspect he'd be fully familiar with all the videos that would be available on this AMG 6.3. On a personal note, I am curious and somewhat miffed, by the German translation of "Die Rote Sau". I mean the term pig is somewhat offensive, in my opinion anyway, but also "Sau" is the feminine version of a pig, or "Schwein" as the proper translation would be......and surely, no 6.3 would be perceived to have female whatever....Regards Styria

Hey MOTEC , as you heard from the GODFATHER , i"ve been watching and reading everything about the ROTE SAU or the RED PIG and of course i learn plenty ffro this site and thanks to the help i got here i started my project of what MICHEL say it is a piglet .

Here some updates to keep you follow though it is far from over and i didn't expect all those obsticles all the way .

1- i didn't know the problems that results from cutting the beck doors and changing the rear fender , i had to change the springs (lower them a bit)
2- the changing of the Engine with the 92 streight 6 result of changing the supports. and the rediator had to make a new one that fits since the original imported with the engine is bigger that the place available ,the old one also was not usable.
3- had to house the battery in the trunk
4- the exhaust pipe pipe was new and completly modified .
5- i'm still not able to find the fan coil and front curcuit for cooling of A/C
6- the front bumper is facing difficulties to be fit in from front fenders ( red pig have no bumpers) i want mine to be installed.
6- the inner of the back new doors , still not deided yet.

so it is far from over as we speak. thou it ran today and the engine is great.

LOL MICHEL , you know i love you man , thanks for the support , about pictures i do have an album already for every step up till now but to post it online is a real head eche , it is now back to the paint shop to save time.

still to do list

1- AC fan coil , rediator .
2- carpets
3- electrical wiring for head lights , tail lights and cabinplus dash& ac
4- inner door lining including the new cut back doors
5- back to put all the accessories and metal finish.

I like to thank you for your support , i think you are the reason that i went in this adventure ( i'm fond of cars period) but never had the guts before to do this.

I declare that topklasse is the main support and i'm very content with all the answers i get and the interesting topics which please evryone about cars specially the BENZ.

To MICHEL , i know how to post photos but it is not easy like posting replies LOL.
