From the privately entered cars, I greatly admire both the Bentley Continental and the Rosso Red 2 door Rolls Royce. They are absolutely magnificent. Mind you though, it was surprising to see the quite badly stained boot carpet in the Bentley. Sorry, just realised these are the dealer cars.

Of the private entrants, the 1948 Buick is my pick. Thanks Geoff for digging up those links. Regards. Styria

Your welcome I stopped at the older cars as very few newer cars take my fancy. I acknowledge advancements and driving ease . But styling leaves me cold with few exceptions And very few of those are in my price range. :)

I'm surprised at the amount of interesting cars for sale through "mainstream" advertisers, is it a reflection of the stae of the market that they are not snapped up through club/enthusiast circles?

Yes I cannot remember the last time I saw this many interesting cars usually 10 or so . Makes you wonder what is happening. :(
