Expressions of Interest - Red Terror

It's been a few months since we discussed the possibility of selling the Red Terror. However, I find it hard to visualise it leaving me. 
But, as space is becoming very scarce at my place with the addition of the CLK, one car has to go...
And unfortunately that has to be the least driven of the cars....
The one owner Blue 450SEL that Jerry has just de-rusted and resprayed (a year ago).
I am not asking a lot for it... Just a decent offer.
It is on Club Rego but I can organise a blue slip.
Here are a few pictures below.
The top two are after the respray and the bottom one was inside the over before the final clear coat.

Well that makes much more sense!!! Is it a D or K? Year? Kms? Interior pics? Rust / water leaks? I must say I love new paint and navy is my favourite colour! I can't buy anything else I not gunna use, but I have a mate that might be interested.... And he also loves navy blue

It is a 1976 model, it has 353,000 very well serviced and maintained mechanically. It is a K-Jet.
It was straight, but neglected in the interior and rust was coming through.
Jerry spent three weeks solid (the equivalent of three months in a normal shop) on the car, cutting rust, making new rust repair pieces where needed.
It leaks a little in the boot although I put new (aftermarket) door and boot rubbers.
It runs great and is quite reliable.
I'll have some interior pics soon.

FOR SALE - Red Terror
Business expansion is forcing me to do this.
The Red Terror (aka 690SEL) is FOR SALE.
As is, with or without the Chrome Wheels (choice of stock Bundts or red/silver painted Bundts), but without the number plates (not for sale).
The car is nowhere near perfect, nor is it a show piece.
It's well sorted out.
Everything works.
It probably needs a professional tune-up.
LOTS of MONEY spent on it, and probably lots more to be spent in the future.

Michel, sad to see the car back on the market again ! Sad, because if it leaves your ownership, it will be like drawing a line to close a chapter that's been developed and cherished for about six years. I mean, you have sold the blue 450SEL, and that ostensibly may have freed up some space for you.
6.9s are up in value, other than some of the crappy ones that come on the market. Yours will be no different - it will increase in value. 6.9s can still be reasonably inexpensive to maintain without all complications of mechanicals and electricals. Owning a 6.9 should be all about pride of ownership, appreciation of the product, and the realization that there may still be fututre expenses - but a lot of these expenses have already been met and have been amortized. Remember, there is no other car like a 6.9, faults, warts and all.
So, why not consider keeping the car ? Put it on Club Plates, if you will, and also attend to some of the issues you may still have with the car, one by one ? Take your time, work on a schedule of repairs, maintenance, beautification, reasonably secure in the knowledge that the Red Terror will actiually increase in value - you still have time, also look at prices being asked for 6.3s, to some degree and in certain areas inferior to the 6.9s, and start to realize that you may actually have an asset on your hands, and not a liability. Anyway, enough of my ramblings. Regards Styria

It's no headaches. I love the car and space isn't really a problem.
But I am launching a couple of magazines early next year and I would rather be cashed up than having to rely on cashflow.
Selling also the 500SL AMG

Hi Michel sorry to hear that.
Oh well the 6.9 is on the market and good luck with the sale.
So still no swap for the 6.9 for the Yaris Michel?
If Red Terror does not sell why not bring the car to the AGD stick a sign in the window plenty of potential buyers.
