I like the speaker placement for the front driver and passenger. I love the finish apart from the rear dome light. Agreed the rear screens look like an afterthought... The boot looks very small for such a large car particularly with the cooler fitted!
Having been to the launch of the new S-Class, I can vouch for its luxurious touches and fast performance - and that was the S350 (V6 turbo-diesel)
The S600 is due on sale in Australia late this year, about the same time as the first next-generation C-Class small cars should arrive.
But there will be no S65 models coming to Oz only the S63 AMG
I get continually confused by S63, S65' 5.5 litre, turbo charged, non turbo charged - AMG, standard Company fare - fast forward ten years, fifteen years, trying to purchase spare parts - it's a horrifying thought and daunting task. You'll be on your own. Sorry to be somewhat negative about all this. Regards. Styria

And I haven't even mentioned the 250 varieties - 1.8 litres . I just wish they'd be bit more in tune with their numbers and what they stand for. Surely that shouldn't be all that hard - nay, difficult. Regards. Styria

What you mean is; why don't they return to an earlier naming protocol when the numbers related to engine capacity? I agree. The naming system now is just a jumble.
