Have you guys been watching the Melbourne F1 today?

Nico Rosberg was in P1 during the practice laps.

Aussie F1 Driver Mark Webber was in P3 also in the practice laps.

It would be good to see Webber win he is racing on his home track.

Then again it would be nice to see Mercedes win the race I did see the new Mercedes F1 car had covers fitted hiding the new design Mercedes did not want it's competitors to see the new design.

I'll be trackside again in a few hours time. I think this season will make for interesting racing, especially from the mercedes camp. Keep an eye on Schumaker.......................

I saw it on tv , i guess it will be tough race and Hamilton is doing good , so as Mclaren , don't rule off WEBER and Schumacher yet. looks very nice weather too.

I wish I was going this year. The telecast doesn't start until noon on Channel 10, so there's no doubt I'll miss plenty of pre-race action.

So MrK what are you doing there so early in the morning?

BTW there was a centre spread in the Herald Sun on Friday about Mick Doohan driving the C63 Black around Albert Park and even competing in a handicapped 'race' with a V8 Supercar and F1!

Congrats to Jenson Button winning the Melbourne F1 today.

McLaren Mercedes won the race good to see Mercedes win!

I did see and hear the AMG Safety cars during the race exhaust note was brilliant!

I will have to go and see the Melbourne F1 live in person one day.

Actually I was late this year. Arrived 5 minutes into the v8's at about 1-30pm.
Weather was superb, and as usual there's plenty of pre race action to keep one amused. ( I always marvel at the 1st timers reaction to some of the events, notably the F18 flyover and the very very 1st time they see and hear a F1 car screeeeam past at over 280kph!)(Priceless!)
I especially liked my walkthru the "Shannons" cars of yesteryear section which is located just behind the Pit area. Saw some awsome racers of a by gone era.I'll upload a couple of pics if I ever work out how to.

Great Racing yesterday and although my mate Mark didn't make the podium I was happy for his 4th placing.

Shame about Schumi and Rosberg, however, the McLarens are powered by the best engines in the world!

Well done everyone and well done Melbourne for a great event!

YES , i agree with MICHEL , ROSEBERG . SCUMACHER , WEBBER and HAMILTON did great in the pre race and seating , MASSA was lucky not to be harmed , petrov was ok too. jenson BUTTON did it. congrate.was wild race in sunny day in beatifull setup.
