It's taken a little bit of time to organize the recent Eastern Creek photos. Our club, the Mercedes Benz Club of NSW was well represented, although the allocated area may have been less than ideal.
When I select the cars, I endeavour to photograph the unusual or rare, or obviously the ones that look beautifully styled to my perspective. I hope the pics and selections meet with your approval. I ask no favours for showing No. 1 - I know, not the best, nor the most desirable, nor the best looking car, but nevertheless she still has to be No. ! - it's Gleaming Beauty, parked on her lonesome, away from the throng....
You can't ignore the styling - only the Yanks can do it like this.....
Not your classic British or German style, but nevertheless still very impressive.
The picture tells the story.....in my humble opinion.
Very rare '55 model, and beautiful colour.....
I have it on good authority that this V16 engined Cadillac cost $50K. to recondition several years ago - that's the engine, not the rest...
A very nice W107....don't know the owner, but it looked the part.
One of my favourites - the Jensen 541R (you see, they already had the RRRR's in the fifties, sixties ?
Not the most beautiful, nor unusual, but cetainly rare - a 50s Fiat 1100 Station Wagon ?
This car had to be the star of the Show - the Aston Martin DBR2 (?)......
Hudsons - very impressive - where are they today ? Well, we all know...............
More to come. Regards Styria
