aftermarket parts experiences
The quality of aftermarket parts for Mercedes is so variable these days, I wanted to created a thread to learn from examples of what parts are good, and what parts are poor quality and should be avoided. It is also worth identifying the true OEM supplier for parts.

So far, my experience with a meyle transmission mount was poor, the part was lower quality than the previous one and had to be modified to fit.

Helmet has mentioned not to use the Febi timing chain guides in M116/M117...
