mater of fact both the slc and the sl looks great but the shannon one is a bit expensive .

Think about it Tim - if you are on the left side of the car and you want to pass a vehicle in front you need to get the whole of your car into the incoming lane before you can see what is coming towards you. That doesn't make for very relaxed or safe driving.

The whole thing appeals to me Tim,

But I wonder if the 350SL was still in production by 1980?

Nice SL Tim! But I think he's looking for a very 'average' SLC.

Personally I like looking for a car myself, as it can be a challenge (but lots of fun) and it can be very rewarding when you do find the right one.

Maybe it's time to let Michel do some searching when he's ready?
