This is my third attempt to post this video on TK. Frustrating. Anyhow, not a lot of action, and you will have to let your imagination do the racing - so to speak. I find the exhaust not of this legendary racer absolutely compelling. It sounds like the old Magirus Deutz air cooled truck engine, so perhaps I can assume that this racer is equipped with such cooling system ? Who knows.
If I recall correctly, and I am also guessing at the origin of this car, it was found behind the Iron Curtain by that well known British Classic Car Collector Neil Corner. My understanding is that it took his mechanic three weeks to dismantle the engine. 16 cylinders, three overhead camshafts, 850Nm of torque, about 650h.p. - those drivers, like Nuvolari, Bernd Rosemeyer must have been absolute heroes - just think of all that when you listen to the sound of the exhaust.
