Just watched video on Foxtel 1926 Bugatti Royale Rebirth of a legend. Someone found the largest Type 41 the 1926 prototype that Ettore Bugatti crashed in 1932 . Ettore hid the car after crashing it . The crashed chassis and original prototype engine of near 15 litres were production car had stroke reduced from 150mm to 130mm and 12.7 litres . Apparently original prototype clutch was found in NZ . First link is the company made documentary I just watched on Foxtel Turbo . Incredible people assembled and chasing parts all over the world . But Value off this car would be incredible Original prototype Royale with original engine that none off the production cars had. And Ettore was only Driver and Owner till crashing it then hiding it as he was embarrassed. knowing what others are worth what would be prototype value .

I was watching the show about the Bugatti Royale last night and today.

The show was shown on the Discovery Turbo Max channel 634 on Foxtel.

The Royale is one superb looking automobile it was just amazing to see the restoration carried out on the Bugatti!

Caroline Bugatti was also featured in the show she is Ettore's grand daughter.
